Dr. Collum received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Baylor University in Waco, TX. She completed her pre-doctoral internship with a sub-specialty in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) at the White River Junction VA Medical Center in conjunction with Dartmouth College Counseling Center and the National Center for PTSD. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in PTSD and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) at Brown Medical School.
Dr. Collum currently divides her time between private practice and working as a clinical psychologist at the specialized practice in PTSD at a large medical center. She is a member of the clinical faculty at Alpert Medical School of Brown University where she trains residents and fellows interested in specializing in PTSD treatment.
She strives to take an integrative approach to clinical care working with adults to explore relational patterns, identify goals, and conduct values-based work towards improving quality of life and gaining self-awareness. She engages clients using a warm, empathic, and direct style to individualize treatment while using evidence-based and empirically validated techniques and modalities in a safe, non-judgmental, and therapeutic environment.
